Stuck in Hollow Lantern? Read This First
Hollow Lantern is fair, but a couple of its puzzles rely on details that are easy to walk past. If you're stuck, the first thing to do is revisit rooms you've already 'finished' — the game loves to place a small clue in a spot you glanced at earlier.
Pay attention to sound and light. Several solutions hinge on noticing what's different in a room after you've changed something elsewhere. Wearing headphones genuinely helps here, which sounds silly until you miss a cue.
When a puzzle asks for a code or a sequence, the answer is almost always written somewhere nearby, not hidden in a menu. The game rarely expects you to guess. If you're guessing, you've probably missed a note.
And don't rush. Hollow Lantern is short, so there's no reason to blitz it. Sitting with a room for a minute is usually all it takes for the answer to surface on its own.
