Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga surprised me with how much it respected my time. It's a turn-based RPG where you build a party of four from a roster of quirky characters, and every fight is a tidy little puzzle about positioning and element matchups. The writing has real personality — one of my healers won't stop complaining about the weather.
The touch controls work better than most RPGs on phones. Dragging a character to a lane and tapping an ability feels natural, and the auto-battle option is there for grinding without feeling mandatory. I mostly turned it off because the manual fights were the best part.
There's a long story campaign plus optional side content, and the difficulty ramps just enough to keep you tweaking your team. If you like RPGs but hate menus that fight you, this one's easy to recommend.
